Robert was born April 18, 1937 in New Haven to Lester Williams and Lillian Ryan. He married Elizabeth Ann Williams in 1961 who passed away in 2012 after over 50 years of marriage. They resided in Northford for 47 years until moving to Niantic.
Robert is survived by his daughters Debra of Branford and Mary of Niantic as well as 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Besides his wife, he is predeceased by his brother Lester Williams.
