Steven was predeceased by his parents, DeForest and Betty Peterson and his brothers Bruce and John Peterson. He is survived by his wife Margie; children Jamie Vaudrey of Niantic, Connecticut and Steven Peterson of Berkeley Heights, New Jersey; grandchildren Riley and Delaney Vaudrey and Roman and Marcus Peterson.
Steven was employed as a technician for Verizon for many years before retirement. In retirement, Steven loved playing golf, maintaining his land, and walking and spending time with his dogs. Steven loved watching football and Formula 1 Racing, his daily dose of Jeopardy, and most of all, traveling and spending as much time as possible with his wife Margie. He will be remembered for his amazing, quiet sense of humor and his calming presence. Steven will be deeply missed by those that knew him, and his smile will never be forgotten.
