Barbara Galland Avril passed away May 23, 2025, at the age of 78. She is survived by her sons, Jesse and Jody Arocha, 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Manual, Mickey, and Nancy Galland, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and family members. She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Bobby” Anthony Avril, her daughter, Gina Arocha, and her parents Pete and Josie Cantu Galland. Barbara will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother and a friend to everyone she met.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 7, 2025, at 11AM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Saint Rose, Louisiana.
