Carroll John Forsythe

Carroll John Forsythe, age 78, earned his angel wings and joined the love of his life in heaven on Thursday, September 7th, 2017. Devoted husband of the late Sharon “Mickey” Forsythe. Father of Crystal Gautreaux and Scott Forsythe. Father in law to Keith Gautreaux and Becky Forsythe. PawPaw to Amanda Gautreaux Blue (Ricky), Emily Gautreaux Arant (Erik), Adam and Mason Forsythe. Great Grandfather to Hayden Josephine Arant and Ricky Lee Blue. Son of the late Godfrey and Armaize Forsythe. Brother of the late Donald Forsythe (Mary), the late Wayne Forsythe (Elaine), Mary Guidry (Gordon), Diane Becnel (Harold), Shirley Duhon (George) and Julie Cambre (Lucien). Brother in law to Barbara “Lolly” Demots (Mike) and Judy Dudenhefer. Godfather to Cindy, Troy, Jill and Keith. Loved by many nieces, nephews and cousins. A native of Lutcher and a resident of Destrehan for over 40 years. Carroll was a hard-working man who always provided for his family. He is best known for always joking around with those he loved most and for his undying love for fishing. Now free from suffering, we know he is in that great big sky, with a fishing pole in one hand and holding his love, Mickey, in the other. Family and friends are invited to attend visitation on Saturday, September 16th, 2017 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco, La from 8:30 am until 10:30 am. A Catholic Mass and Burial will be held at 11:00 am at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan, La.
