

She was the loving mother of her three children: Eddie Duhe III (Stacey), Troy Duhe (Suzette), and Dina LeBourgeois (Dreux). She was a devoted grandmother to Sara McGarry (Chase), Gavin Duhe (Mallory), Margaux and Nicole Duhe, Dreux LeBourgeois, Jr., and Dillan LeBourgeois, and a proud great-grandmother to Jayden, Chase Jr., and Gabriel.
She is also survived by her siblings: Susan Anderson (Andy), Gene Fryoux (Linda), Larry Fryoux (Lorraine), Laurie Lambert (Ronald), and Judy Duhon (Eddie), as well as her first husband and the father of her children, Eddie Duhe Jr. (Jennie).
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Phillips; her parents, John and Mabel Andre Fryoux; and her siblings, Raymond Fryoux (Vicki) and Betty Deaton (Arlen).
Catherine worked for the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Department for 27 years until her retirement. She will be remembered for her unwavering and strong love for her family. There wasn’t anything she wouldn’t do for them. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, and hosting Christmas Eve and other gatherings at her home. She will be remembered as a wonderful caretaker whose bubbly and happy personality always exuded laughter and love. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 401 Spruce St., Norco, Louisiana, on Friday, March 13, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan, Louisiana.
