Charles Raymond Beaver

10/25/32-11/23/18, of Ponchatoula, LA passed away peacefully surrounded by his children while a resident of the Southeast Louisiana War Veterans Home in Reserve, LA. He was born in Kerr County, TX to Leonard and Juanita Alma (Powell) Beaver who have proceeded him in passing. He is survived by his loving wife, Martha Carrier Beaver and his children; Michael Beaver (Alma), Patricia deLaune (Bill), Mary “Nita” Naquin (Doug), Nancy Miller (Troy); his grandchildren: Kevin Naquin, Aaron Naquin (Mandy), Shane Barado (Jill), Danielle Caro (Cory), Kristina deLaune-Racicot (Amanda), Charles R. Miller, Mason Miller, Gunnar Miller, Ivy Carlson (Stephen), Cathy Perkins (Stephen), Alexandria Beaver, Matthew Beaver, Leslie Beaver and seven great-grandchildren(with a new addition on the way). Chuck served in the Korean Conflict serving two tours of duty as a navigator on VC-35 aircrafts; he had a 36 year career working in the aviation field with the FAA.

Chuck loved family get togethers and travel, golf and the N. O. Saints and LSU.

The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff at Oschner Hospital in Kenner LA for their devotion to compassion during he’s days there prior to he’s passing.

He requested to be cremated so there will be no burial services but the family will be having a memorial celebration of life to be held in Texas at a later date. If any individual would like to make a donation to a charity in his name he would appreciate that.
