Elsie Landeche Lousteau

Elsie Landeche Lousteau, a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt passed away on April 3, 2018 at the age of 103. She was born on February 11, 1915. Wife of the late Icar Joseph Lousteau for 53 years and daughter of the late Edward Joseph and Aimee Becnel Landeche. She was a native of Killona, La., a resident of Hahnville, La. for 47 years, and resided in Prairieville, La. since 2005. Mother of Jane Lousteau Collier, Jerry Lousteau and Gail Lousteau. Grandmother of Michael Collier (Tracy) and Richard Collier (Randi), great-grandmother of Brett, Jarod, Ryan, and Darian Collier. She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, William Collier, Jr., brothers Kermit and Blanchard Landeche and sisters Amy Marino, Beatrice Gendron, Gladys Mickal, and Dorothy Thomas. The family would like to thank the staff of Cardinal Hospice, especially Janice, David, and Cigi for the excellent care and support they provided and also Byron Bordelon, the Eucharistic minister, and Beverly Lasalle, the beautician, for their many weekly visits that always seemed to uplift her spirit. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church, Hahnville, La., on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 beginning at 8 AM.
