It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Forrest Joseph Boudreaux Jr. on June 3, 2026, at the age of 76.
Forrest was a proud veteran, devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He lived a life defined by loyalty, hard work, and a deep love for his family. Whether he was hunting, fishing, golfing, talking racing, or enjoying time outdoors, Forrest embraced every opportunity to do the things he loved alongside the people he cared about most.
Forrest shared 55 wonderful years of marriage with the love of his life, Peggy Boudreaux. Together they built a family that became the center of his world. He is survived by his wife, Peggy Boudreaux; his children, Kelly (Eric) Brooks and Jared (Lindsay) Boudreaux; his brother, Kenneth (Denise) Boudreaux; his six grandchildren, Maria, Tyler, Kaytlyn, Riley, Zoë, and Julian; and his great-grandson, Colsen.
He was preceded in death by his beloved daughter, RaeLynn Holton; his mother, Stella Boudreaux; his father, Forrest Boudreaux Sr.; and his brother, Don Boudreaux.
Among Forrest's greatest joys was his involvement in the shooting community. The friendships, camaraderie, and memories he built through the sport enriched his life in countless ways. Our family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the shooting committee and all those who shared this passion with him. Your friendship, support, and the impact you had on Forrest's life meant more than words can express. The time he spent with you brought him tremendous happiness, purpose, and lasting memories.
Those who knew Forrest will remember his strength, wisdom, sense of humor, and unwavering devotion to the people he loved. He was a man who could always be counted on, whose presence made others feel welcome, and whose stories and laughter will be missed beyond measure.
A life well lived. A man deeply loved. A legacy that will never be forgotten.
