We have considered all of you “our family” for 22 years. Difficult to describe Gary in a few words, but Christian (we knew he loved the Lord and attended mass faithfully), loyal, man of his word, honest, friend, man of integrity, role model, encourager, dedicated to you Rose and your family and grandkids, hard worker, respected, intelligent, unselfish. Gary’s favorite response to things was “whatever Rose wants”. These were not just words to Gary, he delivered and tried to give you, Rose, whatever would make
you happy. We will truly miss Gary. Chuck will miss his get-together with Gary once a week for “coffee and chatting” for 2 hours”. Rose, you and your entire family will always be in our prayers. We love you all.

I remember our youthful days of rabbit and duck hunting with your Dad (Uncle Possum) teaching all us young’uns how to hunt. Those were some good, innocent days. Prayers to all my cousins on the loss of their brother.

Joel and I are so saddened by Gary’s passing. We know him to have been forever present in the lives of his children and grandchildren who adored him and will feel his loss deeply. I also know how much love and respect Bryan had for Gary, commenting often he thought him more father than father-in-law. May the wonderful memories you all made with him provide some solace and get you through the tough time ahead. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Joel and Rose Chatelain

I first met Gary many years ago when I married into family. I will always remember Gary as a person who was likeable, friendly, honest, and a man of character. I have always enjoyed his company, and could depend on what he said is what he meant. When spending time with Gary, there was no doubt that he loved his family with no reservations; Rose, his wife, their children and grandchildren were the love of his life. My memory of Gary will always be that he was a very caring person, and he will be missed. My hope is that his family will be comforted by the Lord who is Gary's and our eternal promise.

I have to say that Gary is one of the nicest men I have ever known. Full of faith in the Lord and love for his family and friends. I grieve for my loss but rejoice in the knowledge that he is forever with the Lord in Heaven where he heard the Lord say to him "Well done My good and faithful servant. Enter into your rest."
