Gayle Broussard Oubre passed away May 31, 2026, at the age of 82. She is survived by her two sons, Dooley Oubre (Wendy) and Doyle Oubre, her sister, Vicki Bryant, and a host of nieces, nephews, and family members to cherish her memory.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Shelby Oubre, her brother, Kenneth Broussard, and her parents, Stanley and Mayme Broussard.
She will be remembered as a loving mother; she lived for her children. She will also be remembered for her love of her dogs. She will be greatly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2130 Rectory St. Paulina, LA, on Friday, June 5, 2026, beginning at 9AM. Mass will begin at 11AM with burial to follow in the church mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Jude Children’s Hospital preferred.
