Inez "Pat" Olsen

Inez “Pat” Olsen passed away on January 24, 2021 at the age of 78. Inez was born in New Orleans, LA to Violet Moreau Olsen and James Olsen Sr. She would become 1 of 13 children. She is preceded in death by her parents and six siblings: James Olsen Jr., Albert Olsen, Lloyd Olsen, Clyde Olsen, Colleen Elfert and Marion Keppler. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, great-grandchild and her remaining six siblings: Leroy Olsen Sr., Celie Marrone, Elaine Hatch, Joyce Olsen, Jacqueline Grohowski and Ronnie Olsen. She was the loving mother of Debra Estrada Bordelon (Pierre), Enrique “Rick” Estrada Jr., Amy Olsen Bennett (Jason) and Shaun Michael Olsen (Mindy), grandmother of Enrique “Lil Ricky” Estrada III, Nikki Rae Bordelon, Gage Pierre Bordelon, Jalynn Madison Bennett, Myles Anthony Bennett and Cameron James Bennett and great-grandmother of Layla Ann Bordelon.

Inez was always a social butterfly with a great sense of humor. To know her was to love her. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo with her friends. She could often be found watching Golden Girls or Mamas Family reruns for hours. Inez also had a special love for her family and her cats, if you ask them they would say her cats came first. She was an amazing cook but truly it brought her joy to have the family gather around for a meal. She was always taking care of others. Her kindhearted spirit will truly be missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of Inez’s Life on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St. Norco, LA 70079.
