Age 24 years, and a lifelong resident of Luling, LA.

Beloved son of John Polk, Jr. and Wanda Songy Polk.

Stepson of Aida Aubourg Polk.

Brother of Fernando Mattey, Jada Songy, Cheyenne Clulee, and Kevin Howell.

Maternal Grandson of Carroll and Irene Waguespack Songy,

Paternal Grandson of Lena Pulizzano Polk, and the late John Polk, Sr.

Special friend of Megan Troxler and daughter, Lily.

Also survived by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, other relatives and friends.

Jai was the 1999 BMX National Championship winner while riding with the Quicksilver Racing Team, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Jai loved life and lived it to its fullest. His final wish and gift of love was to be an organ donor.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth Street, Norco, LA on Thursday, April 8, 2010 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM and again on Friday, April 9, 2010 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church, 234 Angus Drive, Luling, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 AM

Interment will follow at St Charles Cemetery, Luling, LA.
