While my memory is not that good and I can't   share a beautiful memory like others, there is something I can say of Janice. She was a no nonsense woman. She said what she thought. You loved her a lot or you loved her a little. Well I loved her and I loved her very much. She made my brother so happy; they gave each other a great life with lots of wonderful memories for their children. She added to the Bergeron family by giving us her children, Kim and Steven and their families who I love very much. And she accepted and loved Stacy and took her as her own. And now she is with her "baby" and that's all she wanted. Rest well my sister until we meet again!

I was working late and got home around ten o'clock that night. I saw Mr Whirley and Janice's house lights still on. Was wondering why they were still up. The next day they came to the house and gifted me on my birthday this quilt, our Philippine flag . They both worked at it for days and had to finish it that night. They both decided that would be the best gift to give because they knew I miss home so much. It was a very sweet gesture that I will cherish forever. We will always treasure the memories, laughter and jokes including the cheering every Saints game. Me and Paul will miss you both. We love you dearest friends.

I can’t recall a part of my childhood without her and Parran in it. There are so many memories I can’t pick one. I’ll just say that I was truly privileged and grateful to have been part of their lives. So many things I have to say beginning and ending with “I Love You and Thank You”. With a bit of “I’m Sorry” in there. Till we meet again. XO

I was a Freshman in high school when I met my best friend, her daughter Kim! Ms. Janice was a no nonsense type of Mother that told us how it was, no sugar coating. Whirley was the velvet glove and together they found a balance. She will be greatly miss and I thank her for the loving, compassionate daughter she gave birth to who still is my best friend and more like a sister to me. I love you Kim! May God grant you and your siblings peace and comfort in the days ahead.

I don’t have child hood memories that didn’t include Aunt Janice she was more of another mom to us. She was always there for us through every part of our lives.. she was the one I would go too whenever I needed someone to listen and understand when I felt no one else did.. aunt Janice and uncle Worly has drop everything to help me out at times I knew I could always count on them no matter what.. my heart is truly broken.. this feels like loosing my mom all over again.. but I know they are all no longer in pain and are reunited enjoying being together again I will always love and miss them both dearly

When I was a teenager, I was a bit wild. I moved in with Janice and Whirley for a few months prior to getting married to my wonderful husband. While living there I was told from the beginning that the wild child was not acceptable and was given a choice. I either had to go back to school or get a job. Calmed me right down. I loved her very much and appreciate what she forced me to see. I guess I needed the strong hand and she was more than willing to lay down the law. I have no doubt that because of her among others, I am the responsible person that I am today. Thank you Janice, will miss you greatly, and love you always.

Janice has been in my life almost since the beginning. She and Whirly took us to drive in movies; my first meal at Pizza Hut on Williams; and other fun memories. She brought me shopping to find my wedding dress and invitations. I didn’t spend enough time with my brother and sister in law but loved them both always and will miss them forever. Love you Janice. 💔
