He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Vernice Hill White. Three daughters; Lisa Ann White Borne (husband Roger, Jr), Tammy Marie White Guarino (husband Dale) and Donna Fay White Tillman (husband Karl) and two sons; Jerry Joseph White, Jr. (wife Anne-Conley) and Jamie Nelson White (wife Tisha) and One sister Diana Marie White Beisert. Thirteen grandchildren, five step-grandchilderen and one great-grandson and another due in November.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Ernest K. White and Vernell White and grandmother, Andrea M. Naquin.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2, 2011 from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm at H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 2:00 pm with Pastor Mike Miller officiating. Burial will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan.
