John M. Pierce

John M. Pierce passed peacefully Saturday, February 3, 2018 with the love of his family by his side. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran. He was born April 28, 1929 in Larose, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his parents Seraphine O. Pierce and Paul Pierce, his first wife Virgie Pierce, daughter Louise Zarka, Grandson Pierce Sharai, and his buddy "Boo-Boo.” He is survived by his current wife of 23 years, Sandra B. Pierce, His children, Susan Sharai (Tony), Joanie DeRouche (Ralph), Michael Scruggs JR. (Heather), Misty Clesi (Sam), and Natasha Abate (Scott). He was Paw Paw/ Poppy to his 18 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Barbara and Jim DuCote.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 821 Fourth St. Norco, LA 70079, from 10 AM until the funeral service at 11 AM. Burial will be held at a later date.

As he always told his wife Sandra, "I love you plenty, plenty", we all Love you, "Plenty, plenty" Paw-Paw forever and always. Amen.
