Joseph P. “Mule” Pollet Jr. passed away on October 14, 2013. He was a resident of Destrehan, La. for 57 years. He leaves behind his loving wife of 57 years June Cortez Pollet. He is survived by his children; Randy Pollet(Jeanne), Roxanne Clouatre(Perry), Rhea Raiford, Rachel Randazzo(Larry). He is survived by 11 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and his sister Marie Stansbury. He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph Sr. and Blanche Pollet, one sister and one brother. He was retired from Shell Refinery. Mule served in the Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 366, St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Reserves and St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office Mounted Posse. He was an avid hunter and horseman.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo on Saturday, October 19, 2013 from 9-11:45AM. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12 Noon followed by the interment at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery. Condolences may be expressed at www.hcalexanderfuneralhome.com
