Joy Marie Tomlinson Sardegna

Joy Marie Tomlinson Sardegna gained her angel wings on July 10, 2025, at the age of 85, surrounded by her loving family. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Nicholas “Nick” Sardegna and her daughters, Toni Sardegna-Clement (Carey), Angie S. Louque (Nolan), and Jennifer S. Atkinson (Shannon), she is also survived by her grandchildren, Taylor S. Robert (Justin), Megan L. Stamps (Jordan), Carly Clement, Cameron Clement, Rayna Sardegna, Sara Louque, Nathan Atkinson, four great- grandchildren, and her brother, Ken Tomlinson (Martha) and a host of nieces, nephews, and family members. She is preceded in death by her parents, Carey and Renette Tomlinson, her sisters, Sue Troxler (Louis), and Jerrilee Negrotto (John), and brother, Carey Tomlinson, Jr.

Joy will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to know her.

The family would like to thank Ormond Nursing Home and all the doctors and nurses throughout this time for all the care and compassion they showed us. We would also like to thank St. Catherine's Hospice for their care and compassion.

Relatives and friends are invited to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan, LA, on Saturday, July 19, 2025, visitation will begin at 10AM, with Memorial Mass to follow at 11:30AM. Inurnment to follow in the church cemetery.
