Joyce Boudreaux Madere

Joyce Boudreaux Madere passed away January 15, 2017 after many years of cardiovascular disease. She is survived by her children, Alvin Madere Jr. (Pamela), and Paula Madere Kinler (Brian), grandchildren, Erica Kinler Heling (Scott), Corey Weeks (Lindsey), and Joel Michael Guy, Jr. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Liam and Elodie Weeks and Gianna Therese Heling (expectant). Also mourning her passing are sisters, Theresa Savoy and Dolores Sauls, Godchildren, Gail LeBlanc, Karen Velargo and Michelle Arceneaux and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Alvin “Preacher” Madere, daughter Lisa Madere Guy (late Joel, Sr.), great granddaughter Maria Faustina Heling, and her parents, Lawrence and Elizabeth Lelia Boudreaux. She is also preceded by her siblings, Rita Simoneaux, L.J. Boudreaux, Jr., Dudley Boudreaux, and Audrey Velargo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Luling, La. on Friday, January 20, 2017 beginning at 9 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM, interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery in Luling.
