Juanita Ann Detillier “Nita”, passed away November 26, 2024 at the age of 84. She is survived by her sister, Geraldine Detillier Rodrigue and her four godchildren, Judy Bauer, Lonnie Rodrigue, Debra Torres, and Jarret Bauer. She is preceded by her parents, Lovelace and Beulah Detillier, and her siblings, Gerald Detillier, Milton Detillier, Lorita Detillier Loupe, and Lois Detillier Rodrigue.
Nita retired from Ochsner after a long career as an LPN. She loved her dogs like they were her children. Nita was a devout member of the St. Charles Borromeo Choir and will be remembered as a charitable person, giving to many organizations and charities throughout her life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Mass on Friday, December 13, 2024, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan. Visitation will begin at 10:30AM. Inurnment to follow at St. Mary’s Nativity Cemetery in Raceland.
