Jules “Black” Thomas Brashear passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2015. He was the loving husband of the late Ruth Spitz Brashear. Father of the late Scott Brashear and wife Beth. Grandfather to Travis Brashear and wife Jeannette, Anna Lisa Brashear and the late Hayleigh Brashear. Great-grandfather to Tate Brashear. Jules was born on September 2, 1917 to Alfred and Elizabeth Jackson Brashear. He was preceded in death by his siblings; Carmen, Herbert, John, Lee and Mae Brashear. Jules retired from Shell Refinery after many years of working there as an operator. He was very involved in the Lions Club, the Shriners and the Freemasons. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Southeast Louisiana War Veteran Home.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at First Baptist Church of Norco, 626 5th St. Norco, La 70079, on Wednesday, August 19, 2015 from 9AM till 10AM.
