Julius S. “Jules” Farmer, Jr. passed away at his home on November 11, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Sandra C. Farmer, his daughters, Stephanie Hymel (Henry) and Nicole Carson. Grandchildren, Courtney Montalbano (Brian Herbert), Victoria Hymel (Carl), Bailey Hymel, Gianna Mackey, Henry Mackey, Jr., and great-grandchildren, Carson, Cooper, Connor, and Carter. He is also survived by his brothers-in-law, James Carson (Claudia), Frank Carson (Melissa), John Carson (Patricia), and Donald Carson (Suzanne).
He is preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Magdalena Farmer, and his siblings, Billy Farmer, Doris Farmer, and Joyce Smitt.
Jules served in the US Marines, he loved LSU, and played baseball on the Fun and Frolic team. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial service on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 11AM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Blvd. Metairie, LA 70006.
