June C. Pollet passed away October 26, 2026, at the age of 90. Born January 14, 1936, to the late Wallace and Stella Cortez, she married her beloved husband in 1956, the late Joseph P. “JP” Pollet. Together they raised four children, Randy J. Pollet (Jeanne), Roxanne P. Clouatre (Perry), Rhea P. Raiford (Kris), and Rachel P. Randazzo (Larry). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tristin, Lexie, Sonta, Kaitlin, Craig, Matthew, Blaize, Chantal, Clint, Colby, and Lorenzo, 16 great grandchildren, and her sisters, Joan “City”, Jeanette “Country”, Katherine, Judy, Sandra, and Stephanie, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and family members.
June was known for over 20 years as the “Sears Lady”, assisting many people in her career at the counter at Sears in LaPlace. She was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Post 366 in St. Rose, she enjoyed playing poke keno and watching her soaps on TV. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Please join us on Friday, October 30, 2026, at St. Charles Borromeo Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan, LA, visitation will begin at 11AM, Funeral Mass at 1PM with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
