Kathleen Shea Waltz passed away peacefully surrounded by family on May 1, 2025, at the age of 83. Born to James and Margaret Shea Jr. on January 12, 1942. She graduated from St. Joseph High School, class of 1959. Kathleen lived a life full of love, family, travel, and laughter. She was the loving wife of Joseph Waltz for 59 years, mother to Daniel Waltz (Tammy)and Suzanne Gauthier (Mark), Maw-Maw to Danielle Wehrlin (Korey), Sarah Gauthier, and Dylan Waltz (Mandie). With the newest addition to the family, she became a great grandma to Miles, and it gave her no greater joy than to be surrounded by family. To know her was to know someone who loved her plants, Mickey Mouse, and a big bowl of ice cream before bed. She will be missed dearly by all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church beginning at 9AM with Mass to follow at 11AM. Burial to follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to St. Jude, something that Kathleen did often and cared deeply for.
