Laura Vicknair Petit

Laura Vicknair Petit, a longtime resident of Luling, LA, passed away July 5, 2015. She is survived by her loving husband, Chris Petit, her children; Dave Petit (Tammy), and Mark Petit (Amanda). Grandchildren; Sarah Freeman, Seth Freeman, and Eve Petit. She is also survived by her siblings; Donna Rose, Maria Mills and Harold Vicknair Jr. and her very close friend Morris Dasch. She is preceded in death by her parents Harold Vicknair Sr. and Dorothy Scioneaux Vicknair and her sister Cindy Zeringue.

Laura was a member of the St. Charles Woman’s Club and Swinging Seniors Bowling. She was a retired science teacher of many years. Her passion for life will be missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Family Catholic Church, 155 Holy Family Lane Luling, LA 70070 on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 11 AM.
