Leonard Ernest Gilbert Jr.

Leonard Ernest Gilbert Jr. passed away peacefully at St. Charles Hospital in Luling, LA on Friday, August 13, 2021 at the age of 62. Lee was born on October 28, 1958 in Leominster, MA and was a longtime resident of Luling, LA.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lois Margaret Gilbert and his father, Leonard Ernest Gilbert. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Joann Gilbert, daughter, Nicole Johnson (Christian), and son, Ray Kranak (Angel). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, three sisters, one brother, and many nieces and nephews.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was loved by many and will be sadly missed.

Celebration of Life will be scheduled in the future.
