Lezin "Chuck" Charles Oubre III

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lezin Charles Oubre, Jr. and Beryl Boudreaux Oubre.

He is survived by his sisters, Dellery Oubre Mitchell and Dardie “Deede” Oubre, brother- in-law, Marcus Mitchell, niece, Meghan Mitchell Duplessis (Chris “Roscoe”), nephew, Colin Mitchell and his long-time girlfriend, Frankie Mc Danils Oates.

Chuck was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He worked as a machinist for Shell Oil Company for many years. He was a fun-loving friend to many. He will be remembered for his never-ending supply of jokes. In his younger years, he loved to hunt ducks in the winter and to be on the water skiing in the summer. For the last twelve years, he has lived in Maurepas, on the water.

A graveside service will be held at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum on Saturday, January 29, 2022 at 10:00 am.
