Mary Francine “Gwen” Bruder passed away on July 23, 2012 at River Region Hospice. A retired Home Health nurse in the New Orleans area. Gwen was a resident of St. Rose, LA and a native of Baton Rouge, LA.
She is survived by a foster daughter, Dessie Miley; her brother, Philip “Sonny” Bruder and his wife, Elizabeth; two nieces Marianne Hood and Frances Geri Bruder, and a nephew, Philip “Al” Bruder III. She was preceded in death by her father Philip A. Bruder Sr. and mother Mercedes Bruder.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 26,2012 starting at 10:30 am followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:30 am at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 1908 Short Street Kenner, LA 70062. Interment will follow at 2:30 pm at Roselawn Memorial Park, 4045 North St. Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
Arrangements are under the direction of H. C. Alexander Funeral Home in Norco.
