Mary “Miki” Ruffino passed away June 15, 2026, at the age of 69. She is survived by her husband of 34 years, Richard Ruffino, and her son, Richard Ruffino, Jr. She is also survived by her adopted grandchildren, Kaleigh, Nick, and Ava, and her siblings, Lori Guichard, David and Deutsche O’Neal, and Liz Poirrier (Rafe). Miki is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lynn O’Neal and her infant daughter, Margaret Michael Ruffino.
Miki worked for many years as a sitter for the elderly. Previously she worked for many years for the New Orleans School Board lunch programs. She will be remembered as a loving mother, wife, and friend.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, at The Destrehan Plantation Mule Barn, 13034 River Road Destrehan, LA from 11AM until 2PM.
