Maurice "Trey" Joseph Waguespack III

Maurice Joseph Waguespack III, “Trey”, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus at the age of 37, on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. Trey is survived by his parents Maurice “Reese” Joseph Waguespack Jr. and Carole “Lynnie” Rochelle Waguespack. Trey is also survived by Abby Champagne, Trey’s soulmate and life companion, his sister Macie Waguespack Ralser, her husband Ryan, and their daughter Savannah, along with his children, Kyleigh, Kennedi, and Noah, his greatest blessings, and Piper, his puppy who loved him dearly. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Maurice “Macky” Joseph Waguespack Sr. and Patricia “Patti” Olavarrieta Waguespack, as well as his maternal grandparents, Nolan “Cat” Rochelle and Carole Jackson Rochelle. Trey never met a stranger and was a genuinely selfless man, who felt his happiest when he was helping others. He was a talented craftsman; there was no job too difficult for Trey to complete! Trey expressed his love boldly; each moment spent with him was worth celebrating. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and member of the St. Rose Hunting and Fishing Club, where he shared many of his most enjoyable moments with dear friends. Trey was also a member of the Knights of Columbus organization in Norco, LA. Above all else, Trey cherished his time spent with his loving family and wonderful friends. Visitation will be held at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 401, Spruce Street, Norco, LA on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 9am to 11am, immediately followed by a Catholic Mass. Cremation to follow services with interment at a later date. Please join us in honoring Trey’s beautiful life.
