Michael C. Fisher

Michael C. Fisher passed away January 29, 2017, joining his loving wife, Sylvia, in Heaven. He is survived by his children Dennis Fisher (Sue), Patrick Fisher, and James Fisher (Catherine), grandchildren Brian, Kelly, Paul, Julie, Ellen, and Sarah. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren and his brother, Edward Fisher, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents and other siblings.

Mr. Mike was an avid bowler and woodworker, and participated in numerous choral groups. He was an election commissioner and a member of RSVP. He was proud to have won several medals in the Senior Olympics.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 13396 River Rd. Destrehan, LA on Wednesday, February 1, 2017 beginning at 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 AM, interment to follow in the church mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to your favorite charity or to St. Charles Borromeo.
