Michelle Catoire Freeman passed away peacefully at her home in Grand Isle, Louisiana, surrounded by her loving family, on September 6, 2026, at the age of 64. She was born on March 28, 1962, to Dorothy “Dottie” Catoire and the late William “Billy” Catoire.
Michelle was the devoted wife of Randall Freeman, whom she married in 2014, and a loving mother to Amanda Dottolo (Duffy) and the late Brandy McGovern. She was also a cherished stepmother to Caitlynn Saucier (Skylar) and Kelci Freeman.
She was a proud grandmother to Camryn Schexnayder, Kyleigh McGovern, Ashton Thompson, Avery McGovern, Adalee Thompson, Lucas Dottolo, Grant Saucier, and Blake Saucier, and a loving great-grandmother to Beaux Waguespack and Baylor Pickett.
Michelle is also survived by her three sisters, Angel Torres, Tiffanie Bourgeois, and Chanele Raiford.
Michelle will be lovingly remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She found great joy in cooking for her family and cherished the time spent surrounded by those she loved. She adored her life in her beloved “paradise,” Grand Isle, Louisiana, where she made countless memories with her family and friends. Michelle’s love, warmth, and devotion to her family will remain forever in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 14, 2026, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norco, Louisiana, beginning at 9:00 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan, Louisiana.
