Michelle Madere Weaver

Michelle Madere Weaver, a loving mother, daughter, sister, and grandmother, passed away at her home on September 24, 2025, at the age of 62, surrounded by those she loved. She was born in New Orleans, LA, on May 20, 1963, and was a longtime resident of St. Rose, LA.

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Weaver Jr., father, Michael Madere; her sister, Jessica Madere; and her granddaughter, Kaleahya. She leaves behind her loving mother, Judy Madere; her daughters, Theresa Weaver, Simone Bourg (Tony), Victoria Bourg (Kenny), and Misty Weaver (Paul); her brothers, Michael Madere (Karin), Bryan Madere (Yvette), Billy Madere (Becky), and Charles Madere (Heather); as well as her cherished grandchildren: Daniel Darden (Olivia), Shayla Bourg, Audrie Bourg, Urijah Bourg, Jacob Bourg, David Weaver, Aurora Bourg, Cali Darden, and Demarie Hunt. She is also survived by her mother and father-in-law, Johnny and Simone Barbara and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.

Michelle had a beautiful smile that lit up every room and a gentle, loving spirit. She enjoyed being outdoors and staying active—especially through working out. She adored her dogs—Lil Boy, Breeze, JoJo, Caesar, and Mushu—who brought her endless joy and companionship. She missed her husband, Jimmy, terribly and called out for him in her final moments.

Fashion and style were among her passions; she loved dressing up and shopping for clothes that made her feel confident and radiant. But above all, Michelle was happiest when surrounded by her family. She will be remembered for her sweetness, her softness, and the warmth she brought into the lives of everyone she touched. Michelle will be deeply missed, and her memory will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, 22 Apple St., Norco, LA 70079, on Thursday, October 2, 2025, from 9:30AM until the time of service at 11AM. Burial will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery, 13396 River Rd., Destrehan, LA.
