Mildred "Marie" Landrum McKinney

Mildred "Marie" Landrum McKinney passed away peacefully on September 6, 2024, two days after her 102nd birthday. She was born on September 4, 1922 in Shreveport, LA to the late Thomas Murry Landrum and Virginia Francis Lay Landrum and was a resident of Luling, LA.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband, William C. McKinney Jr., son, William C. McKinney III, grandson, Brandon McKinney, her siblings, Earl Landrum, Thomas Eugene Landrum, and Murrell Lynch, and daughters-in-law, Neal McKinney and Vicki McKinney.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons, Mike McKinney (Ana), Patrick McKinney (Gale), and John McKinney, six grandchildren, Chris McKinney, Sarah Hooper, Rachel Perez, Dustin McKinney, Benjamin McKinney, and Marcus McKinney, and sixteen great-grandchildren.

A graveside memorial service will be held on September 27, 2024 at 1 PM in Minden, LA.

The family would like to give a special thanks to her faithful caregiver, Jeanine Domino and to Hospice Specialists of Louisiana.
