Patricia Agatha Troxclair Anderson, a native of New Sarpy, and a resident of Norco, entered eternal rest on January 25, 2021, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born on February 13, 1937, and was 83 years old. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Pat is survived by her five children: Gwen Goudeau (Allen), Dawn McCubbins (Charles), Kay Anderson, Dirk Anderson (Nancy) and Mark Anderson (Andrea). She leaves behind seven grandchildren: Jill Raymond, Amanda Arnold, Allyson, Amy, and Charles (Chuck) S. McCubbins, III, and Garrett and Heather Anderson; also, six great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband Cedric R. Anderson, parents Noah Troxclair, Sr. and Eliska Gaudet Troxclair Simon; four brothers: Noah Jr., Thaddeus, Malcolm, and Vincent Troxclair and two sisters, Janice Beadle and Catherine Waguespack. She is survived by one sister, Eliska “Lizzy” Mosley; and sisters-in-law Gwen and Patricia Troxclair, Angela Anderson; and brothers-in-law Wayne Beadle, Larry Mosley, and Peter Anderson.

Pat was a member of the St. Charles Parish Homemakers Club for over 35 years. She was an avid Pokeno player (45 years) and took pleasure in playing dominoes also. She loved going on road trips, cruises, and state conventions. Her volunteerism was a true asset to the community. She enjoyed traveling the world and had a passion for genealogy. Patsy loved going to Grand Isle. She especially enjoyed it when family and friends came to “The Camp”. She welcomed everyone. She taught each new generation to swim, to use their “magic washcloths”, and to know the true meaning of love.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Louisiana Hospice and Palliative Care. Visitation will be held Monday, February 1, 2021, from 10:00AM to 12:00PM at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Destrehan, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial. Gwen, Dawn, Dirk, Mark & Kay,

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Mrs. Pat. She was a beautiful lady. She was like a second mother to us when we lived in Norco. We had great times growing up as neighbors and going to the camp. She will truly be missed. She is now with the Good Lord and will be watching over y’all. My prayers are with y’all. Love, Ellen
