Patricia Cambre Shedler

Patricia "Pat" Cambre Shedler passed away on September 23, 2026 at the age of 86. Pat is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Shedler, parents Lillian Bourgeois and Alvin Cambre, siblings Mary Ann Cambre Francis, Frederick Cambre, Carl Cambre, brothers-in-law Robert “Bob” Francis and Michael “Mike” Peregrim, and grandson, Peter Joseph Frangella. She is survived by her two children, Michelle Frangella (Carmine) and William “Billy” Shedler, grandchildren, Camryn, Calie, and Cara Frangella, Jessica Donaldson (Sidney), Amber Lutz (Matthew), Brittany Smith (Adam), and Jarrett Frangella. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews, as well as Mary S. Francis and sisters-in-law Shirley Cambre, Pat Peregrim, and Sue Rachko (Joe).

Pat, born on May 28, 1940, was a life-long resident of St. Rose. Known as "Momsy" by her granddaughters, she loved nothing more than spoiling them rotten and praying for them. Lovingly called “Nanny” by her many nieces and nephews, she loved to cook and bake for all her family and friends, and she prioritized helping her loved ones. She and Bill were avid New Orleans Saints fans, and Pat loved watching the television western, The Virginian. Her faith was immensely important to her, and she loved attending weekly Adoration and serving God in any way she could.

A Funeral Mass will be held at a later date at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, 1908 Short St, Kenner, LA. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church Food Bank, Ministry of Poor, or Adoration Chapel in Pat's name. Please check www.HCAlexander.com for service updates.
