Patrick Danny Murphy

Patrick Danny Murphy, 75, “Pat”, a resident of Weyanoke, LA, died on Saturday, January 17, 2026. He worked for the Dupont Chemical Plant and later as a police officer and coroner’s assistant for West Feliciana Parish. There will be a visitation on Monday, January 26, 2026 at the St. Francisville United Methodist Church from 10:00 am until memorial services at 12:00 noon, conducted by Rev. Brandon Sikes. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Sandee Walker Murphy; two sons Kane Daniel Murphy and wife Janel of Garyville, LA; Jeremy Lawrence Murphy of St. Francisville; three grandchildren: Claire Murphy Oldner (Trace), Jake Murphy, and Dayle Murphy; one sister, Frances Horozelski; one brother John W. Murphy III. He is also survived by his lifelong friend and brother in law Ted Roussel. He was preceded in death by his parents, John Wallace Jr. (Pat) and Mary Murphy. Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Roussel, Teddy Roussel, Benjamin Roussel, Mitchell Roussel, Bo Welch, and Larry Rider. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and brother. The family wishes to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the extraordinary staff at the Baton Rouge General Medical Center.
