Reyann Rose Cooper

Reyann Rose “Rainbow Rey” Cooper has joined her angel family. She came into this world ready to learn, to teach, and, above all, to love. It didn’t matter who you were or what the day brought—Rey loved everything and everyone, no exceptions. “Everybody love Everybody”—that was her way, and she lived it without hesitation. Nothing really lasts forever, except love.

Rey couldn’t do anything mean, not even if you dared her. She was the Rey’s of sunshine in every room, and if you were feeling down, all it took was one of her hugs—suddenly, the world felt lighter. She had a magic about her that made everything better.

Rey was a true old soul, free and gentle. An angel walking among us, and now, our angel above. She was, and always will be, perfect in her own way.

Thank you to everyone who helped shape her journey—the good, the bad, the ugly, and all the messy in-betweens. Rey was wrapped in love from every direction: her biological family, her chosen family, her school family, her St. Jude family, her spillway family. Wherever she went, love followed.

Rey was the best kind of person, and everyone who knew her will keep her close—in their hearts, in their memories, and in the quiet moments when sunshine breaks through the clouds.
