Roy L. “Shine” Madere, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at his residence in New Sarpy. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and the owner of Roy Service Center in New Sarpy for over 35 years.
He is survived by his daughter; Dawn M. Cortez (Maurice, Jr.), granddaughter, Mallory M. Cortez. Two brothers; James and Dale Madere.
He was preceded in death by his wife; Barbara Chase Madere, parents; Richard and Clothilde Madere, brothers; Daniel and Ralph Madere
Private services will be held by the family at a later date.Arrangements under the direction of H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, Norco, LA.
