Sammy Puglise

Sammy Puglise passed on June 7, 2026, at the age of 69. Born on July 14, 1956, Sammy lived in Boutte, LA. Sammy graduated from Hahnville High School in 1974 and was the owner of Sammy's Tackle Box in Boutte, LA. He also worked for the Monsanto Plant for 37 years. Sammy loved to hunt and fish and cheering on LSU sports.

Sammy was preceded in death by his parents, Sam and Ruth Puglise; and his sister, Josie Authement (Terry Authement).

Survivors include his beloved wife of 50 years, Tammy Lirette Puglise; his children, Chad Puglise (Jen) and Jessica Baudoin (Jason); his grandchildren, Lucy and Logan Baudoin; his niece, Ashley Joyce (John); and his beloved canine companion, Chip.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Luling, LA on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at church from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Charles Catholic Cemetery, Luling, LA.
