Shane A. Parr passed away February 27, 2026, at the age of 59. He is survived by his mother, Brenda Roussel and stepfather, Robert “Red” Roussel, his son, Logan Shane Parr, granddaughter, Lakelynn Parr and siblings, Monty Parr (Trisha) and Monique Parr, as well as two nieces, Alexa Oubre and Bailey Parr. He is preceded in death by his father, Leslie R. Parr and his nephew, Michael J. Parr.
Shane was an avid outdoorsman and NASCAR fan and loved LSU and the Saints. He will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother, and son.
Relatives and friends are invited to H.C. Alexander Funeral Home, on Thursday, March 5, 2026. Visitation will begin at 9AM with Memorial Service at 11AM.
