Stanley Joseph Guidry passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. He was 81 years old. He was the beloved husband of Lois Graci Guidry and the late Leona Fabre Guidry. He was a native of St. Charles Parish and resident of LaPlace for 33 years. He is survived by his children, Wayne Guidry, Kenneth Guidry, Ruth G. Ballam, Patricia Guidry, and Michael Guidry; 3 siblings, Noah Guidry, Jr., Arnold Guidry, and Jeannie Palmer; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents, Noah and Jeanne Guidry, as well as by three siblings, Roy Guidry, Alice Buford, and Lorraine Glover, and two grandsons, William “David” Spencer and Billy Arnold, and one great granddaughter, Erica Ledger.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2010 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Church in Destrehan. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM at H. C.
