Sue T Troxler

Sue Grace Tomlinson Troxler, age 88, a long time resident of New Sarpy, Louisiana passed away peacefully at her home on May 21, 2025 with her 8 children at her side. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Carey Tomlinson and Renett Gaubert Tomlinson, husband Louis Olide Troxler, siblings Carey Tomlinson Jr. and Jerrilee Tomlinson Negrotto (John), great grandsons Steele Troxler and Gabriel Charles Keller, and son-in-law Dan Hayes.

She is survived by 2 siblings (spouses) Joy Tomlinson Sardegna (Nick), and Ken Tomlinson (Martha), Her 8 children (spouses) Terry Troxler Tamplain (Perry), Dana Troxler Keller (Brent), Michael E. Troxler (Pamela), Brenda Troxler Hayes, Connie Troxler Gurry (Jim), Marsha Troxler Lassalle (Dale), Timothy D. Troxler (Paulette), Shawn Troxler Schexnaydre (Scott) 19 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

She was a devout parishioner at St. Charles Borromeo Church. She will be remembered for her loving heart, tender compassion and unwavering devotion to God. She really enjoyed spending time with all of her children and their families along with her friends. She also enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, quilting and being an adorer at the St. Charles Borromeo Perpetual Adoration Chapel.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, Destrehan, LA on Friday, May 30, 2025 at 12:00pm. Visitation will be held at church from 10:00am until 12:00pm. Interment will follow in St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery.
