Susan “Sue” Abate age 56 passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at Oschner Hospital in Jefferson. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Dubel, her mother Carole Dias and her father-in-law Sam Abate. She is survived by her husband of 32 years, Pete “PJ” Abate and mother-in-law Mary Abate. Son, Christian Johnson and wife Nicole, granddaughters, Alycia, Jenna and Tori Johnson. Daughter, Tiffany Johnson and grandsons, Dylan and Galen. Brother Mark Dubel (Carlene) and three sisters; Nancy Bales, Jan Marker (Wayne) and Carolyn Dubel (Doug).
She will be dearly missed by family and friends. Per her request no public services will be held, there will be an upcoming family memorial only.
