Juanita & Family,
I am so sorry to hear about the death of Wendell. I have such fond memories of he and Dan and our families getting together. I pray that God will be with you and your family to comfort you and surround you with His love.

Wendell was a great man who cared deeply about people and whose faith in God was obvious.  In the early 70's, Dr. Lorio was on my Mississippi State University Master of Science Committee. During the following years, we had the pleasure of sharing conservation work, hunting, and fishing experiences together.  The world is a better place because of Dr. Wendell Lorio's contributions to the lives of people and to natural resource conservation.  We know that he will be missed deeply by Juanita and his loving family.  You are in our thoughts and prayers.  Wendell is now watching over us all.

Uncle Wendell is now with his mom, dad, and brother. The Lorio family will be watching, supporting, helping, and loving those of us who remain behind until we see them again in the presence of our lord. May god grant us peace in this time of loss.

Wendell was a great colleague. He was fun to work with and he did everything well. My condolences to Juanita and to the rest of the Lorio family.

Lauren and I were deeply saddened and shocked to learn of Wendell's passing. I always enjoyed working with him on projects and appreciate all the opportunities he passed my way. It was great privilege to work with Wendell for several years at LSU AG Center. He was a gentle man and always spoke of others with respect. I remember he loved his family and loved Louisiana. I appreciated his insights into aquaculture as well as his optimistic outlook on life.

I'm very saddened to hear of Wendell's passing. He always had a positive outlook and was a joy to be around. I will sincerely miss him.  My condolences and deepest sympathies to Juanita and the rest of the Lorio family.

I was so very sorry to hear of Wendell's passing.  I enjoyed working with him for several years at LSU AgCenter in aquatics.  Wendell was a good man and I learned a lot from him during that time.  He was a true professional and well respected.  I am praying for you and your family.

Juanita, I am so sorry you have lost Wendell. My condolence goes to you and your children. We all will miss him. He was such a kind and sweet person. I pray that God will soothe your heart to ease your pain.

I was disappointed to learn of Wendell's passing. He was a major presence in our region's natural resource conservation efforts, especially in aquaculture. He will be missed.

 A kind, gentle man who was a pleasure to know. Worked with Wendell at the La Cooperative Extension Service for a number of years...always well informed about aquaculture and natural fish populations. Followed his career since leaving LSU and know he was a very respected professional. Proud to have known him.

I am so sorry to hear of your passing today while I was attending mass at St. Marks in Ama. My prayer and thoughts will be for you and your family. It was a pleasure working with you at the St. Charles Parish Ag Center.
