Alan Nelson Stampone, Sr.

Alan Nelson Stampone, Sr., 88, passed away suddenly on Wednesday. Alan was born in Maryland to the late Anthony and Kathleen Evans Stampone. Alan worked in the Merchant Marines before retiring from the Post Office after 32 years. When Alan wasn’t working or spending time with his family, he loved fishing. He is predeceased by his wife of 65 years, Faith Doris Stampone and a brother, Matthew Stampone. He is survived by his son, Alan, Jr. and his wife, Sherry; sister, Carol Walls; grandchildren, Christine Jessup and husband, Eric; great-grandchildren, Noelle, Gavin and a special granddaughter, Teresa Wight; nephews, Stacy, Michael, Matthew, and Daniel Walls.

A memorial service will start at 6pm, Saturday, April 11, 2015 at Smith and Williams Norview Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent for Lisa Olson’s honor by Manyata Ministries, P.O.
