On May 31, 1958, she married the love of her life, Robert Recor, who preceded her in death. Together, they shared 49 remarkable years of marriage, building a life grounded in commitment, sacrifice, and love while raising their three daughters as a devoted Marine Corps family.
Faye carried a strong work ethic throughout her life. As a young woman in Hawaii, she took great pride in working alongside an all-female crew in a male-owned gas station - an experience she cherished. She later worked at McDonald’s before dedicating many years to the U.S. Gypsum plant, where she wore her hard hat and steel-toed boots with pride, reflecting her determination and grit. She was also co-owner of Natural Image Hair Salon with her daughter Robin from 1999-2010
Above all, Faye considered her greatest calling to be motherhood. She was immensely proud of her three daughters - Lenn, Faith, and Robin, and never missed an opportunity to speak of them with deep love and joy. They were her heart and soul.
Faye found delight in life’s simple pleasures - watching her favorite daytime stories, staying closely connected with family through visits and phone calls, enjoying her Dr Pepper and chocolate pecan turtles – her little sweets - and especially cherishing time spent with her family and friends.
Most importantly, Faye loved Jesus with all her heart. She was an active member of True Vine Ministry Seventh-day Adventist Church. Her life reflected her faith, marked by a sincere devotion to sharing the love of Jesus and loving others well. She lived as a woman fully poured out for the Lord, leaving behind a legacy of faith, love, and unwavering commitment to Christ and family.`
Faye leaves to cherish her precious memory, her 3 daughters, Lenn Satterfield (Wade) Faith Wilson, Robin Alexander (Tony), 6 grandchildren, Kisha Prisinzano (Gandolfo), Amber Stanley (Josh), Christin Walker, D.J. Wilson (Christin), Cody Alexander (Lauren), Tara Clarke (Aden), 13 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren and a host of friends and family that she treasured dearly.
