Annie Ruth Floyd

Norfolk, Annie Ruth Floyd 82, passed away May 3, 2009. Annie also known to many as “Ruth” is predeceased by her husband Joseph S. Floyd, Jr. Ruth is survived by her daughter Edna Bess and husband George of Chesapeake, Sons Joseph S. Floyd, III and wife Leigh of Norfolk,William G. Floyd and wife Judy and Jeffery L. Floyd and wife Dale both of Virginia Beach. Sister Polly Olsen and nephew Robert Olsen Both of Norfolk. “Ruth” will be dearly missed by her seven grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Ruth is a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church in Norfolk. She enjoyed many hours of volunteer work at Lake Taylor Hospital. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends and will always hold a special place in each one of their hearts.

In Loving Memory of Annie Ruth Floyd a service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Woodlawn Funeral Home Chapel, prior to the service a visitation will be held from 12-2 at Woodlawn Funeral Home 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, 23502.
