Antoinette Taylor

With heavy hearts and all our love we announce, Antoinette Taylor 95, of Chesapeake Virginia passed away on Jan 16, 2025. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to the late Sisto Sabellico and Marie Illardi Sabellico, both who immigrated from Italy, met, fell in love and married in NYC in the early 1900’s. Antoinette was 3rd from the youngest and last of the 9 children of that loving union to leave us.

In addition to her siblings, Frankie, Louie, Josie, Jimmy, Joey, Carmella, Sal and Angie, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, Arthur Taylor, who died suddenly at the age of 52 in 1976.

Left behind to Cherish her memory are her 3 grieved children, Carol Miles and husband Johnny Miles, Patty Taylor, John Taylor, 3 grandchildren, Ryan, Arthur and Angel and great grandson Christian. She also left behind a large extended family of nieces and nephews that although not local maintained a close loving relationship.

Antoinette enjoyed a good laugh, was an accomplished seamstress, a good cook and a loyal friend. Despite being widowed at 46 and enduring many hardships, she remained a devoted mother and Aunt and always put family first. She is and always will be dearly missed by all that knew her.
