Audrey Geraldine Welch Schreiber, 75, better known as “Jere” wife of David E Schreiber and a resident of Virginia Beach, passed away on Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Born in Cartersville, GA on November 16, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Henry Thomas Welch and the late Audrey Ann Branton Welch. Audrey was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Virginia Beach. She was a high school graduate.
Other than her husband, she is survived by two children, Paul David Schreiber and Lisa A. Evans; a sister, Alice Elizabeth Page; 3 grandchildren, Victoria M. Evans, Michael J. Evans, Jessica L. Woodson; 6 great grandchildren, E’layna, Ethan, E’milya, Emma, Ellieana Evans and Lilith Parent.
Audrey was a Career Naval Officer’s wife, Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 8, 2014 at 1:00 pm in the Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. A visitation will be held from 10 to 12 noon in the Woodlawn Funeral Home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.woodlawngroup.com
