Bessie J. Rano, 85, passed away on Feb 28, 2012. She was predeceased by her brothers; Alfred, James, John Sam Dioquino, and William Burford; and a sister, Pearl Benjamin. She was raised in Norfolk’s Atlantic City section and is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Frank J. Rano, her daughters; Mary R. Heitman (Edward) of Norfolk, Lucia R. Farmer (Marving) of Chesapeake and Frances R. Moore (Thom) of Wytheville, VA. The family will accept friends at Woodlawn Funeral Home 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, VA from 6 to 8pm on Friday March 2.
